Lindsay B. Davis is a movement artist whose approach to fitness is inseparable from her work as a performer, multi-sport competitor, and from her own hard-won relationship with her body.
She came up as a serious athlete — earning All-State honors and an All-American nomination in soccer, plus All-County in basketball, before playing two seasons of Division I Women's Soccer at Cornell University. Alongside her athletic career, she trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, and gymnastics, developing the strength, precision, and body awareness that now define her work as both instructor and performer. She later expanded into choreography, bringing musicality and storytelling to stage and screen.
For over a decade, Lindsay has instructed at Equinox, one of the most demanding and prestigious fitness environments in the world. She was hand-selected for Equinox's Innovation Team and recognized as an award winner for the launch of The Pursuit, the brand's digital signature cycling class. She has led branded experiences and collaborations with Adidas and Sweaty Betty, and has appeared on camera as a trainer for Bowflex and Equinox, and in athleisure campaigns.
She got her start through the intenSati method, training under founder Patricia Moreno — and earned the designation NYC's "Open Air Guru" from NY1 for her outdoor teaching work.
Lindsay brings refined physical intelligence, full-body awareness, and a commanding presence to every class. Her path has not been without challenge. Lindsay recovered from an eating disorder and has navigated seven orthopedic surgeries — experiences that reshaped her understanding of the body not as something to be pushed past its limits, but as something to be listened to, cared for, and celebrated. That journey is present in everything she teaches: the compassion she brings to every student, the acceptance she models in every room, and the deep gratitude she holds for what a body can do when it is truly supported.
An dedicated yogi and certified barre, lower body conditioning, mat Pilates instructor, Lindsay brings refined physical intelligence, full-body awareness, mindfulness, and a “grace under pressure” presence to every class. Her movement life and performing arts vocation intersect in a beautiful dance. Lindsay remains an avid sports fan who (when time permits) can regularly be found enthusiastically watching professional soccer, basketball, and tennis.
